Do you want to live in a place where work and private live are tied together in perfect harmony?
A place that values premium housing over premium profits?
A place where old mobility and new mobility come together in perfect unison?
A sanguine metropolis where sustainability isn’t just a phrase?
A sanguine metropolis that is open and welcoming?
The Brexit vote will change many things. For the post-Brexit future it is important to think about what could be instead of what might be.
SPECULATIVE FUTURES
Ausgehend von der Idee der Utopie, beschäftigen sich die Studierenden der Klasse Amin im Rahmen der Ausstellung mit Zukunftsvorstellungen und Erinnerungen durch verschiedene Arten der Kunstproduktion. Die Analyse von gegenwärtigen Machtstrukturen und Raumkonflikten führen zu künstlerischen Arbeiten und Interventionen, die sich im Prozess befinden und so die Betrachter*innen einladen diese weiterzudenken. //
Departing from the traditional idea of utopia, this exhibition investigates art practice as a tool for speculative futures. The analysis of current power structures and spatial conflicts inform artistic works and interventions that are about the process of building new imagi- nations, and thus invite the viewer to participate in future thinking.
